I'm pretty sure the swordfish (or needle - can't remember now) did shoot down quite a few of the carriers cruise missiles before it beached itself in a possition where it's CIWS couldn't hit them. I suspected that might also be true as the island was magically clear of any AA units and it was a 3 shield island. Originally posted by Atlana.what made it worse: I didn't see any CIWS shooting down (nor trying to) the AI's cruise missiles :srnuke::♥♥♥♥: I wanted to test some things out for PvP, figured I play "multiplayer" game, one human player, ZERO AI players/faction, so I'd be all alone and can peacefully tinker around - but YET, I'm loosing (red) islands to (yellow) AI faction! (the big holo-table map) ![]() This game could be good but right now it's really really bad. The other option is for you to cheat but then the game is not worth playing. And this costs $50 just to play against a cheating AI or multiplayer that none of your friends are going to buy. And after you see what it does you realize how bad the AI actually is in the game. But worse it does not even cap anything unless you are looking. It's already bad enough that it has unlimited ammo and craft. Making the enemy follow the same rules as the player is a must in this kind of game. Once the illusion is broken it makes the game uninteresting. It kills immersion when the AI is so poorly programmed. ![]() Originally posted by OperationDx:Developers can't get away with this kind of stuff anymore.
